Frank E. Holmes
CEO and Chief Investment Officer
Frank Holmes is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of U.S. Global Investors. Mr. Holmes purchased a controlling interest in U.S. Global Investors in 1989 and became the firm’s chief investment officer in 2001.
Under his guidance, the company’s funds have received numerous awards and honors including more than two dozen Lipper Fund Awards and certificates. In 2006, Mr. Holmes was selected mining fund manager of the year by the Mining Journal. He is also the co-author of “The Goldwatcher: Demystifying Gold Investing.”
Mr. Holmes is engaged in a number of international philanthropies. He is a member of the President’s Circle and on the investment committee of the International Crisis Group, which works to resolve conflict around the world. He is also an advisor to the William J. Clinton Foundation on sustainable development in countries with resource-based economies.
Mr. Holmes is a native of Toronto and is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is a former president and chairman of the Toronto Society of the Investment Dealers Association.
Mr. Holmes is a much-sought-after keynote speaker at national and international investment conferences. He is also a regular commentator on the financial television networks CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business, and has been profiled by Fortune, Barron’s, The Financial Times and other publications.
Susan B. McGee
President, General Counsel
Susan McGee joined U.S. Global Investors as Associate Counsel in 1992. In 1997, she became General Counsel and was named President of U.S. Global Investors in 1998. In collaboration with the CEO, Ms. McGee is responsible for directing the overall policy, planning, administrative, budgetary and operations functions of the organization. As General Counsel, she provides general legal services to U.S. Global Investors and its subsidiaries.
Ms. McGee received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She earned a J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ms. McGee is a director of the San Antonio Sports Foundation, a member of the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association and the San Antonio Women’s Bar Association.
Catherine A. Rademacher
Chief Financial Officer
Catherine Rademacher has served as Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Global Investors since August 2004. She was Controller of the company from April 2004 until August 2004. Prior to joining U.S. Global, Ms. Rademacher was an associate with Resources Connection from July 2003 to February 2004. Ms. Rademacher was a recruiting manager with Robert Half International from November 2002 to June 2003; the controller of Luby’s Inc. from June 2000 to October 2002; assistant controller of Hunt Building Corp. from April 1995 to October 1998; and senior auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick from October 1993 to March 1995.
