Owning Commodities without Getting Physical
Troy Reinhart and Tyler Simones of Financial Focus Radio welcome Portfolio Manager Brian Hicks to talk about the recent desire of many retail investors to have exposure to commodities, without owning the physical commodities themselves.
Brian explains why the fund he co-manages, the Global Resources Fund (PSPFX), does just that by buying into commodity-producing, energy and basic materials companies involved in exploration, production and processing of commodities instead.
Listen to the March 1 interview now to hear Brian’s take on the longer term bull market in commodities, as well as why the slower growth out of China won’t necessarily hurt commodity demand.

Foreign and emerging market investing involves special risks such as currency fluctuation and less public disclosure, as well as economic and political risk. Because the Global Resources Fund concentrates its investments in specific industries, the fund may be subject to greater risks and fluctuations than a portfolio representing a broader range of industries.
