Commodity-TV host Jochen Staiger welcomes Frank Holmes to the program while in London for the Mines and Money show, and asks Frank’s opinion on what will happen with commodities like gold and oil in the coming year.

Frank shares how the two drivers of gold, the Love Trade and the Fear Trade, are still in full force. Although GDP per capita has been declining in emerging markets, gold is seen as the most valued gift for seasonal and cultural occasions in China and India.

As for oil, Frank points out that although prices are low, this is actually a huge benefit for consumers, and highlights several opportunities for investors.
