Q. What options are available when I access my account online?
Once you establish online access to your account, you will have access to the following account options:
- View your current balance and account history.*
- Purchase shares.
- Exchange shares to a new or existing fund on accounts with like registrations.
- Redeem shares (for non-retirement accounts only).
- Add, update, or delete bank information for online purchases and redemptions.
- Make changes to dividend/cap gains distribution options.
- Receive statements, fund reports, and fund prospectues online through e-delivery (once e-delivery options become available).
- Change your mailing address and email address for e-delivery.
- Order a duplicate account statement that will be mailed to the address of record.
*You will be able to view up to the last 80 transactions on your account. However, you will not usually be able to view transactions prior to the current calendar year, so the number of viewable transactions may be less than 80.
Q. What is the easiest way to get fund and account information?
Online access is quick and easy! For account information, click on Access My Account located on the top navigation bar. For daily prices, go to the Fund Performance page. For fund information, visit the Our Funds page in the main navigation bar above.
Q. How do I access my account online?
You can login to your account by clicking on the Access My Account section on the top navigation bar on any page. You will need your user id and password to access your account information.
- Instructions for first time users: To establish online access, please click on the “Establish User ID” button on the Account Selection page. You will need your Social Security Number and Account Number to verify your identity and establish a User ID and Password. Once established, you will no longer use your Social Security Number or Account Number to gain access.
- Instructions for returning users: Please enter the User ID and Password you created. If you have forgotten your User ID, click “Forgot your ID?” button on the Account Selection page and follow the instructions.

Q. How secure is your website? What is the security level of your website?
U.S. Global Investors uses 128-bit encryption, which is in line with reasonable industry standards.
Q. Why can’t I access your website?
If you are having trouble accessing your account, you may need to make sure that your browser is compatible with our systems and/or encryption level. The site is best viewed using the latest version of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox or Safari.
Q. When I access my account information on your website, how far back will the transaction history go?
When accessing your account online, you will be able to view up to the last 80 transactions on your account. However, you will not usually be able to view transactions prior to the current calendar year, so the number of viewable transactions may be less than 80.
Q. How do I access my account on your automated telephone system?

Our automated telephone system is a convenient, automated service that provides you with the following options:
- Free Information Kit (Option 1)
Just leave your name and phone number on our voice mail system, and we’ll contact you to send a free information kit, including a prospectus and application, for any of our no-load mutual funds. - Automated Account Access (Option 2)
- Option 1, Balances and recent transactions: All you need to access your account is your 14 digit account number (the 3 digit fund number and 11 digit account number) and your personal identification number (PIN). (If you are a first time user, please call an Investor Representative to obtain your PIN.) Find out your account balance, what checks have cleared, if your deposit has arrived yet or if a redemption request has been processed.
- Option 2, Automated exchanges: Instead of waiting for a representative to make your exchange, use our automated system to move up to $50,000 between identically registered accounts. Call before 3:00 PM Central Time to get that day’s closing price. You’ll receive a confirmation number to ensure that your trade is executed correctly. Just a reminder: Our peak calling time is between 1:00 and 3:00 PM Central Time.
- Fund Closing Prices and Yields (Option 3)
- Option 1, Stock fund prices: Daily closing prices for all of our equity funds
- Option 2, Bond fund prices and yields: 30-day SEC yield for our Tax Free Fund and Near-Term Tax Free Fund
- Option 3, Money market yields: The 7-day current and effective yield for our U.S. Treasury Securities Cash Fund and U.S. Government Securities Savings Fund
- Option 4, Market indexes: Daily closings of Spot Gold, London Gold, Dow Jones, S&P 500, NASDAQ and GROW

Q. How do I obtain a PIN (personal identification number) for the automated telephone system?
Please call an Investor Representative at 1-800-US-FUNDS (1-800-873-8637) to obtain your password for the automated telephone system. Once you access your account through the automated telephone system, you can change your PIN using any combination of numbers. The new PIN must be 4 digits in length. If you have difficulties accessing your account, please contact an Investor Representative for assistance.
