Account Access
- How do I access my account online?
You can login to your account by clicking on the Access My Account section on the top navigation bar on any page. You will need your user id and password to access your account information.
- Instructions for first time users: To establish online access, please click on the “Establish User ID” button on the Account Selection page. You will need your Social Security Number and Account Number to verify your identity and establish a User ID and Password. Once established, you will no longer use your Social Security Number or Account Number to gain access.
- Instructions for returning users: Please enter the User ID and Password you created. If you have forgotten your User ID, click “Forgot your ID?” button on the Account Selection page and follow the instructions.

- Can I add direct deposit instructions to my money market account?
Yes! If you have an account in our U.S. Government Securities Savings Fund or our U.S. Treasury Securities Cash Fund, you can directly deposit your paycheck or any other check into your account. Simply download, print, complete and sign the Direct Deposit Form.
- What options are available when I access my account online?
Once you establish online access to your account, you will have access to the following account options:
- View your current balance and account history.*
- Purchase shares.
- Establish and update automatic investments through the ABC Investment Plan®.
- Exchange shares to a new or existing fund on accounts with like registrations.
- Redeem shares (for non-retirement accounts only).
- Add, update, or delete bank information for online purchases and redemptions.
- Make changes to dividend/cap gains distribution options.
- Receive statements, fund reports, and fund prospectuses online through e-delivery (once e-delivery options become available).
- Change your mailing address and email address for e-delivery.
- Order a duplicate account statement that will be mailed to the address of record.
*You will be able to view up to the last 80 transactions on your account. However, you will not usually be able to view transactions prior to the current calendar year, so the number of viewable transactions may be less than 80.
- What is the easiest way to get fund and account information?
Online access is quick and easy! For account information, click on Access My Account located on the top navigation bar. For daily prices, go to the Fund Performance page. For fund information, visit the Our Funds page in the main navigation bar above.
- How secure is your website? What is the security level of your website?
U.S. Global Investors uses 128-bit encryption, which is in line with reasonable industry standards.
- Why can’t I access your website?
If you are having trouble accessing your account, you may need to make sure that your browser is compatible with our systems and/or encryption level. The site is best viewed using the latest version of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox or Safari.
- When I access my account information on your website, how far back will the transaction history go?
When accessing your account online, you will be able to view up to the last 80 transactions on your account. However, you will not usually be able to view transactions prior to the current calendar year, so the number of viewable transactions may be less than 80.
- How do I access my account on your Automated Telephone System?

Our Automated Telephone System is a quick and easy way to manage your investments by phone. Use either spoken commands or your telephone’s keypad to get access to account information such as your balance and the fund’s closing prices.
Call 1-800-USFUNDS (800-873-8637) and select Option 1, and then select Option 1 again. Access your account with your Social Security Number. You may use your telephone keypad or say the keyword to get to your desired menu choice.
First time users will need your Social Security Number and an account number to establish a PIN. A PIN is a 4-digit personal identification number, created by you, to access your account.

- Fund Information
Prices, yields and dividends are all available on the automated system. The investment objective for each fund is also available. - Account Information
Account information contains the value of your funds, last transactions and year-end account balance. You also have the ability to re-order statements and tax forms. - Transactions
You may process a trade on your account, such as an exchange, purchase or redemption. - Use your voice to navigate the system
If you choose, you may say the keyword commands to tell the system what you want. If you want account balance, say “account balance."

- Why did U.S. Global decide to change the automated system?
We’ve listened to our customers’ requests for features and functions to make the automated system more user-friendly. The added functionality will offer more services to you.

- The new system includes voice recognition options; can I still use my phone’s keypad?
You can use your keypad on your telephone or voice recognition interchangeably. For example, to protect your privacy in a public place, use your phone’s keypad to log in. Then, say “Account Balance” to access the account balance options.
You can also switch to our touch-tone system at any time by pressing **.

- What is the difference between voice and touch tone?
The voice system responds to either spoken commands or your telephone’s keypad to access your account or fund information such as your balance and the fund’s closing prices. The touch tone system responds only to your telephone’s keypad.
The voice system is the default method in the automated system. To use the touch tone system, press ** as soon as you hear the greeting. You may switch back to the voice system at anytime by pressing *6.

- I was switched to the touch tone system automatically. How do I get back to the voice system?
You may switch back to the voice system at anytime by pressing *6.
- How do I access my account in the new Automated Telephone System?
First-time users will need your Social Security Number and an account number to establish a PIN. A PIN is a 4-digit personal identification number, created by you, to access your account. A PIN is required for each Social Security Number and is not account-specific.
Once a PIN has been established or your voice has been established as your password, you may access your account at anytime by using only your Social Security Number and PIN.

- How do I set up and use my voice as my password?
After you hear the greeting say “Enroll my voice.” Follow the instructions as directed by the voice system. You will be asked to repeat your Social Security Number three times. You will also be asked to repeat the phrase “My voice is my password. Verify me.” Once your voice has been established as your password, you may access account information by saying your Social Security Number. A PIN will not be required when using your voice as a password.
- I set my voice as my password. How do I access my account in public without saying my Social Security Number?
You may use the touch tone keypad on your phone at any time during the call to access your account in public places. Your PIN will be required when you are NOT using your voice as your password.
- How do I work with another Social Security Number in the same call? Do I have to hang up and call back?
In order to work with another Social Security Number say “Access a different account.” If you are using the touch tone system, press *3.
- The system is too slow for me. Can I skip ahead?
You do not need to listen all the way through a menu. If you know what you want to do, you can say a command at any time to go to another option.
- Can I get a printable guide to the menu options?

- Why doesn't it understand me when I say the number of the fund I want?
When requesting information on a specific fund, say the fund name, as the automated system does not recognize funds by ticker or fund number.
- How do I find the fund closing prices?
You can find a fund’s closing price by saying the name of the fund. You will immediately hear the fund’s closing price. If you are unsure of the fund name, say “Price” then “List” for a list of fund names. Say “Yes” when you hear the fund you want. To hear another fund, say the name of the fund or say “List.” Say “Yes” when you hear the fund you want.
When using the touch tone system, press 2 to access the price menu, and press 1 to get prices. Press the number of the fund you want or press the # key for a list of funds. Press 1 when you hear the fund you want.
- How do I change my address using the automated system?
To change your address you may call an Investor Services Representative at 1-800-USFUNDS (1-800-873-8637) or access your account online. The automated system is not able to accept address changes.
- How do I reach an Investor Services Representative?
You may say “Representative” or press “0” at anytime during the call. If you are using the touch tone system, press “0.”
