U.S. Global Investors is the proud recipient of three STAR Awards from the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA). At the October 2017 awards event, we were awarded best overall retail communications within the small fund category, competing against firms with $10 billion or less in assets under management. Additionally, we received one award for best newsletter for advisors and another for our Gold’s Love Trade whitepaper.
The MFEA is a national industry association committed to investor education and dedicated to helping investors understand mutual funds. In its 21st year, the STAR Awards program is the mutual fund industry’s preeminent awards competition. It recognizes excellence in marketing and communications with investors. The awards are judged by peers within the industry and only those who meet the highest standards of quality are given an award.
The Advisor Alert was awarded best newsletter for advisors. This online publication is a free weekly analysis of global markets written by U.S. Global’s portfolio managers. It is an essential tool for staying informed of the latest news on gold, plus our unique perspectives on the geopolitical and economic events that affect investments in natural resources and emerging marketings.
In the marketing campaign category, U.S. Global was honored with an award for its Gold’s Love Trade whitepaper. The publication reveals insights from CEO and Chief Investment Officer Frank Holmes on gold, answers questions about emerging markets’ impact on gold and explains India’s importance to the Love Trade
Thanks to these new STAR Awards, U.S. Global now has 83 in total.
