U.S. Global Investors CEO Frank Holmes appeared on CNBC Asia’s Squawk Box on Sunday August 9 along with Yung-yu Ma, chief investment strategist at BMO Wealth Management. The two discussed bullish and bearish cases for gold.

Frank reiterated his prediction that bullion could soar to $4,000 an ounce in the next three years due to global economic stimulus and money printing. Frank believes we are in a secular bull market and highlighted gold’s positive track record: “Since the year 2000, gold has been up 80 percent of the time.”
