He also discusses the Fear Trade, a driver of gold’s price action, which has lately been global central banks adding to their gold reserves, such as Hungary, Poland, Russia and China, among others. Central banks buying gold is a positive sign of demand and demonstrates, Frank believes, that gold can be an effective store of value.
