Frank Holmes joined the Oxford Club’s Rachel Gearhart for an episode of the Market Wake-Up Call to discuss gold’s latest price action. Frank explains that gold trading is largely influenced by the Love Trade and the Fear Trade. The Love Trade is people buying gold in the form of jewelry for gift giving predominantly in China and India, while the Fear Trade is stocking up on gold out of fear of economic uncertainty such as negative real interest rates.
