Frank Holmes joined host Paul Bagnell and Manulife portfolio manager Phillip Petersson on BNN Bloomberg’s The Street to discuss both gold and cryptocurrencies. Although the yellow metal has been down most of the year due to a strong U.S. dollar and higher real interest rates, Frank believes gold has held up remarkably well. Cryptocurrencies have also suffered this year falling into a bear market, but Frank explains they could rise again as more institutional investors enter the space.
