Daniela Cambone of Kitco News asks Frank Holmes why slow growth in China hasn’t done more to boost gold so far this year. Frank explains that the main issue for the precious metal continues to be a strong U.S. dollar, and that he believes gold is doing well. Daniela switches over to silver, noting that it finished last week as the best performing metal, falling only 0.11 percent. Frank says that U.S. consumers have continued to be strong buyers of silver at the start of the year, along with physical gold, which could be one of the drivers of its recent performance.
