Gold is Skyrocketing, Here’s Why

Daniela Cambone of Kitco News talks with Frank Holmes on a day when gold posted its longest winning streak since 2011. The precious metal hit a 12-month high of $1,247 an ounce mid-day on Thursday, and Frank says this is because money is going to gold as a safe haven asset globally.

The precious metal hit a 12-month high of $1,247 an ounce mid-day on Thursday, and Frank says this is because money is going to gold as a safe haven asset globally.  Although he believes this rally can hold, after posting three straight years of losses, Frank does note that it would be a non-event for the yellow metal to have a healthy correction.
