Derrick joins a discussion with CNBC Asia regarding the Jackson Hole symposium, and what he thinks the dialogue from the central bankers’ summit will focus on. John says he expects the divergent trends in monetary policy between the U.S. and Europe to be considered, noting that we have been seeing more and more targeted and outright easing policies around the world.

 

John is also asked to comment on whether or not he thinks wage growth is an essential measurement for the Federal Reserve when it comes to monetary policy and inflation.
