U.S. Global Investors Recognized as Healthy Employer

The San Antonio Business Journal (SABJ) and Humana Healthcare teamed up to recognize employers throughout San Antonio, Texas, who promote the wellbeing of their employees through wellness programs and health benefits. For the second year in a row, U.S. Global Investors has been recognized as one of the top three small companies named as San Antonio’s 2014 Healthiest Employers.
According to the SABJ, nominees were ranked in numerous categories including strategic planning, programming and interventions. The survey and scoring process were implemented with input from representatives in health care, wellness, academic and business communities.
Pictured below holding this year’s award is U.S. Global’s “Fit and Fresh” Wellness Committee, who helps plan monthly health and fitness challenges for the company and develops a monthly e-newsletter with fit facts.
