USGI Marketing Team Showcases Winning Strategy
NULL
Every year U.S. Global enters its marketing and communications materials to the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) Star Awards, the mutual fund industry’s preeminent awards competition. In 2017 the team won three awards, including Best Overall Retail Communications, bringing total awards won to 83. Two members from the U.S. Global Marketing Department, Holly Schoenfeldt, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, and Joseph Guyer, Senior Financial Writer and Editor, discussed the winning communications strategy on the Contagious Content podcast hosted by Imprint.
Holly and Joseph describe how U.S. Global’s thought leadership in precious metal investing and emerging markets plays into the team’s content creation, along with how they stay on top of new topics such as blockchain and cryptocurrency. Marketing plans for the coming year include expanding the Frank Talk blog into a video series called Frank Talk Live and developing more interactive content for readers.
